Terms & Conditions
Welcome to House of Ledgers. These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) apply to your access and use of House of Ledgers’ services, including bookkeeping, ITIN applications, tax filing, and accounting support.
1. Definitions
“We,” “us,” “our,” or “House of Ledgers” refers to the service provider offering bookkeeping, accounting, and financial compliance services.
“You,” “your,” or “Client” refers to the individual or business engaging our services.
“Services” include bookkeeping, QuickBooks, Xero, Wave bookkeeping, tax preparation, ITIN application services (including eligible ITIN applications without a passport), and related accounting support.
2. Scope of Services
We will perform the services described in your quotation, proposal, or engagement agreement. Services may include bookkeeping, bank and credit card reconciliations, financial reporting, tax preparation, and ITIN application assistance. Any additional work outside the agreed scope will require mutual approval and may incur additional charges.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely financial records, supporting documents, and access to accounting software where required. You are also responsible for ensuring that all information provided is correct and for making payments according to the agreed terms.
4. Fees & Payment
Service fees will be based on the agreed pricing structure, whether fixed, hourly, or recurring monthly. Payment is due according to the invoice terms. We reserve the right to suspend or delay services if invoices remain unpaid beyond the due date.
5. Confidentiality & Data Security
We respect the privacy of our clients and treat all financial and personal information as strictly confidential. Your information will only be used to deliver our services and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or authorized by you.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service giving rise to a claim. House of Ledgers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. We are not responsible for delays, rejections, or decisions made by government authorities regarding ITIN applications, tax filings, or other official processes. Clients agree to indemnify House of Ledgers against claims resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.
7. Term & Termination
This Agreement becomes effective once our services are accepted and continues until the agreed work has been completed or terminated. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing 14 days’ written notice. The Client remains responsible for all fees incurred before the termination date.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith discussions. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it may proceed to mediation, arbitration, or the appropriate courts under the applicable laws.
9. Changes to Terms
House of Ledgers reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any revisions will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any legal proceedings arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bangladesh.
